The General Services Agency Senior Management Team Reviews Draft Framework Document

Monrovia, Liberia - On October 18, 2024, the Senior Management Team of the General Services Agency (GSA) convened to review a pivotal draft framework document to modernise the agency and enhance service delivery across its operations. The Director General, Hon. Galakpai W. Kortimai led the meeting, who emphasised the critical role this framework will play in shaping policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
 
During his opening statement, Hon. Kortimai articulated the urgent need for reform within the GSA, highlighting that "the Framework work documents are essential tools that will guide our efforts toward a more efficient and responsive agency." He underscored that through these new policies and SOPs, GSA aims not only to streamline its processes but also to significantly improve the quality of services provided to the public and government entities.
 
The draft framework document reflects extensive research and stakeholder feedback, ensuring that it addresses the current challenges faced by the agency while implementing best practices in governance and service delivery.

The Senior Management Team engaged in a collaborative discussion, identifying key elements of the draft framework while also outlining future steps for finalizing the document.
