The General Services Agency (GSA) delegations has commenced a major operational tour across five south Eastern counties of Liberia as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen government fixed assets management and improve public service delivery.
The ten-day tour officially began on July 3, 2026, covering Grand Gedeh, River Gee, Maryland, Grand Kru, and Sinoe Counties.
Ahead of the arrival of the Director General, Hon. Galakpai Woizee Kortimai, Deputy Director General for Operations Hon. Robert E. Wilson led an advance team of GSA staff to Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, to prepare for the agency's engagements. Director General Hon. Kortimai later arrived with the rest of the GSA delegation.
While the tour, the GSA team will meet with county authorities and other local Government officials/stakeholders, inspect government facilities, conduct coding of government fixed assets, introduce GSA Asset Monitors assigned to the numerous counties within the South Eastern region of Liberia, and also carry out other official activities aimed at strengthening transparency, efficiency and accountability in the management of government fixed assets.
Upon arrival in Zwedru, Hon. General Kortimai, accompanied by Monitoring and Evaluation Director Mr. Beyan Pobuwu and Public Relations Officer Mr. Miller, appeared on Smile FM to inform residents of the county that the General Services Agency arrival and outline the purpose of the visit to the people of Grand Gedeh County.
The accompanying photographs capture members of the GSA team during the live radio talk show at Smile FM in Zwedru. Also pictured is a brief encounter between the GSA delegation and a team from the Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (LRRRC). The two teams met at the boundary between Nimba and Grand Gedeh Counties, where they exchanged greetings, shared light moments, and wished each other success before continuing to their respective destinations.
